Fit Pulse Privacy Policy
Fit Pulse is a free companion tool from The Gut Doctors. This page explains how your information is handled when you use Fit Pulse.
Where your entries live
Your entries are saved only in this browser on this device. The Gut Doctors cannot see them. Fit Pulse uses your browser's local storage — it does not send your habit entries to a server.
What happens if you clear your browser
Clearing your browser data or switching devices will remove your entries. You can export or delete them any time in Settings.
Optional sign-up: "Save my progress & get updates"
The welcome screen offers an optional "Save my progress & get updates" form. It is completely optional — you can skip it and still use Fit Pulse. If you choose to fill it in, the details you submit (your name, email and phone number) are stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system so we can contact you about Fit Pulse. You consent to being contacted by email and text when you check the consent box. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time.
Your check-in entries and habit data are not sent to our CRM. They stay only on your device, in this browser's local storage, as described above. No health, symptom or check-in data leaves your device when you sign up — only the contact details you typed into the form.
We do not send any SMS or email automatically from this sign-up, and no marketing workflow is triggered. The sign-up only creates or updates your contact record so our team can reach out to you.
How to request deletion of your contact details
If you opted in and want your contact details removed from our CRM, email drjasmina@thegutdrs.com and ask us to delete your Fit Pulse contact record. Deleting your contact details in our CRM does not affect the entries stored on your device — to remove those, use "Delete all my Fit Pulse data" in Settings, or clear your browser data.
What Fit Pulse is for
Fit Pulse is for habit tracking and coaching only. It isn't medical advice and doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Please don't enter medical record details, diagnoses or medications.
Cookies, analytics and network calls
Fit Pulse does not use cookies, analytics events, or any network call that sends your entry data. The only network call Fit Pulse makes is the optional sign-up form above, which sends only the contact details you submit. Your consent to use the tool is stored locally under the key fitpulse.consent along with the date you agreed.
Age requirement
You must be 18 or older to use Fit Pulse.
